My blog updates are getting fewer and far between. What can I say? The weather has finally started getting nice, so I’m trying to get outside once in a while. And away from the computer.
The job hunt continues. I do have a sorta-part-time thing lined up, being a test proctor for a local outfit doing real estate and whatnot exams. That’s a few bucks. And I’m getting more nibbles on my resume writing and manuscript editing services. Why, I’m actually getting close to revenue neutral.
Mind you, I still would prefer a proper job, what with health benefits and whatnot, but right now, I’ll take what I can get.
Ventured out of town last weekend for a brief sojourn to Seattle to visit Vanessa and see a few other friends in the area. In fact, one of these visits with an old Magic friend may actually turn into a design/testing gig – I can’t say more right now, as I’ve been thoroughly NDA’ed-up…but this could develop into something. Yes, it’s another work-for-free gig…but with the people involved, this has a much, much better chance of working than my last for-free gig. Fingers crossed!
In fact, I’ve got some work to do there. More blogging later. Promise.
