These are the birds I know I know, these are the birds I know

2 09 2010

As I slog away here working on various projects (some paying, some might be paying), I figured I’d take a break in between searching for new rentals to catalog the various avian fauna I’ve sighted over the past year.  Mind you, this is just from my window, these are the birds I have cataloged:

Belted Kingfisher
Canada Goose
Mallard
Western Grebe
Red-Backed Merganser
Rufous Hummingbird
House Finch
Wilson’s Warbler (might be a similar small yellow bird, tho)
American Robin
Western Flicker
Barn Swallow
American Dipper
Great Blue Heron
House Sparrow
Stellar’s Jay
Scrub Jay
Osprey
Red-Tailed Hawk
Red-Winged Blackbird

And I’m sure I’m missing a few birds there, too. Stunning to see that many species in such a tiny area.

That’s also not counting the various species of bats I’ve seen, too. I am going to miss this place. Not just because moving sucks ass, either.
