Thank you for sharing the letter from the recipient. Paul and I both cried when we read it. We are so grateful that the person that received it, truly realized what a special person Cheryl was.

It’s Apple Cup time and they the only reason they cleaned up the snow in the streets and parking lots.

My job at the Museum of Anth disappears in March. Mary Collins did her best to find more money, but there just aren’t any more rabbits in the hat.
U of I posted a position similar to mine in August -collections manager for a bit archy project up in Sandpoint – with a salary 7K higher (45K vs 38K).

U of I? Huh?
Go Dawgs, Go anyone but Cougs.

I just reconnected on fb with a very old friend I haven’t seen for over 15 years and found out that his wife died just a year ago from melanoma. Similar scene – an old mole that waited 28 years to do its dirty. So I went back to “it’s not benig” in order to give him the URL and thought I would check your fb profile (we are both friends of Vanessa’s) to see what and how you are doing and found this website.
And just yesterday you posted the letter from the first Cheryl Scholarship recipient….

I hope you are well. You and Cheryl are not forgotten.

I would like to clear one thing up though… You may have gotten “the big “things are going to get pretty hectic here” speech”, but in conjunction with that I also got the “as soon as we can we’re gonna hire someone else to do your job, demote you and continue to not pay you” speech. If I had slept in the last 40 hours that day I would’ve up and quit right there but my brain wasn’t operating on full at that moment. Straight-up we were used and abused.
